  1. A Haiku Challenge?
I thought you'd never ask me!
    Could I win something?

  2. Something is quite wrong.
    It's Shannon's haiku above.
    The first word was wrong.

    Wrong? Yes, very wrong!
It was meant to be "again"
    to follow the rules.

    ReplyDelete
  3. rules were elusive.
I will be better next time.
    I am so sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  4. sorry i have not
    visited your blog lately
    mission work exhausts

    ReplyDelete
  5. exhausts is stinky,
    and can make you sick.
    My advice...to avoid
    rush hour traffic, leave
    from work early...

  6. Early error here:
    5-5-6-6-4 is odd.
    5-7-5 is better.

  7. Better Haikus are
    coming your way very soon.
    We're a bit rusty.

    ReplyDelete
  8. rusty was the clerk
on the peoples court. heck yeah!
    oh the memories!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Memories of laughter,
    it takes me back, to
    Shannon and Orin
    in their goofy hats!

    ReplyDelete
  10. hats are things we could
not wear in school where we learned
    how to write Haikus

    ReplyDelete
  11. Haikus are so fun
    Thanks for this Haiju Challenge
    It brought joy to me!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Me Tarzan, you Jane.
    Swinging on the jungle vines,
    like in the movies.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Movies make things up.
    Actors become characters.
    They yearn for Oscars.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oscars I know of:
The one from "The Odd Couple"
    And Oscar the Grouch.

    ReplyDelete
  15. "Grouch" is a hard word
to start a new sentance with.
    How about "St. Paul?"

    ReplyDelete
  16. Paul might seem harder.
I had a friend named Paul once.
    I've lost track of him.

    ReplyDelete
  17. "'Him went to the store,'
    is very poor grammar," said
    Ms. Good to the class.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Class? Go to head of
    or upper, middle, lower
    Two meanings...you choose

    ReplyDelete
  19. Choose to chew on shoes!
    Using words that sound alike
    Is a lot of fun.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Fun is what I have
when I go to the ball game.
    I'm going June 4th!

    ReplyDelete
  21. June 4th is Sunday
Perhaps I will have more time
    to write my Haiku

    ReplyDelete
  22. Haiku Challenge II -
    "Fun For the Whole Family"
    could be it's slogan.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Slogan, "Haiku Is For You!"
    sounds much more enticing.
Ah-ha! We should have a challenge...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Challenge? BRING IT ON!
"Haikus are more fun than cheese!"
    Maybe it needs work.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Work is still needed.
    Five-Seven-Five is correct
    for Haiku writing.

    Writing, otherwise,
is not very hard at all:
    Count; be expressive!

    ReplyDelete
  26. 'Expressive' is tough.
It's hard to find things to say.
    Do we know catchic?
