For all the Saints

Bet you didn't know it had 11 verses! Here's #10:
But lo! there breaks a yet more glorious day;
The saints triumphant rise in bright array;
The King of glory passes on His way.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

  1. Wow. Even though I don't think I've heard that song--that is a lot of verses.

    However, I don't think it quite beats the 15 verses of "Were You There" that we sing at our church....I don't know if all those verses are "official" but we have 15 different verses (one for each station of the cross) and we sing ALL of them. Suffice it to say that I am a firm believer that there is such a thing as too much of a good (or in my opinion, just "okay") thing.

  2. Oh Marianne...
    I feel as tho we are sisters seperated at birth.

    I love that I have to endure all 15 verses at least twice since I am the "light lady" at the Shrine's annual "Were you there?" presentation of the Stations -
