Jesus is Our Friend Too

So, we've had a couple requests (via facebook, thanks Erin B and Marianne) to cover this little gem:

Do a google search for "sonseed" to learn a little more about the song, the group, whether it's all real or not, etc.  And we'll keep you posted...

In the meantime, enjoy Orin's favorite lyric:

Once I tried to run, I tried to run and hide.
But Jesus came and found me and He touched me down inside.
He is like mountie, He always gets His man,
and He'll zap you any way he can.
Zap.

  2. Oooooo YES! He would be amazing. He's interested enough in musical theater, and he did write that song...so you should probably commission him to write a musical for YSP (but it HAS to include this song, which really wouldn't be that much of a stretch--it's a musical!)!

  3. Remember folks, this whole ting may or may not be real...

  4. Well, then if it's not real, Oddwalk will have to write the musical....either way we are getting this on that stage in Belleville!

  5. If you want to cover the song, I'm in. I can either be the bass player or the fat guy singing in back. Your choice.

  8. I'm already on the outfits. I think we can Goodwill it well enough to have them ready by Sunday for the JC Diocese Youth Rally. I just don't know where I'm gonna find those kickin' enormous round-frame glasses the one chick was wearing. Maybe my mom still has hers from 1982.

  10. Okay - this is the first time I've seen the video.

This may only make sense to those of you who have KNLC channel 24 - but it looks like their studio you know where the older gentleman and his wife play gospel music, sometimes with unwilling-looking family members.

We saw them once at IHOP - I didn't get an autograph, I'm sure they just wanted a nice meal out without being in the public spotlight.
