Good Sportswomanship

Oregon College softball player Sara Tucholsky  hit the ball out of the park against Central Washington but tore a knee ligament while rounding first base. It's not a home run unless she makes it home, and she couldn't walk and her own teammates, according to the rules, couldn't help her, so two Central Washington players - the opposing team - carried her around the bases.

  1. I don't care what those other guys say. I think it shows a great deal of sportsmanship! Not many people would do that. Pinch runner or no, I am proud of them. They could've put a pinch runner in, but they didn't need to. That took a great deal of courage. Unfortunately, you don't see acts like this too often. Not that I want anyone hurt, but someone doesn't have to get hurt to do a good deed. Anyway, they made it very high on my list!
